Content Integration: monster.com consumer experience

Problem

Users routinely encountered deadends after finishing one activity, but were offered no engagement with related articles, tips on related tasks, or targeted lob listings. 

Objective

Introduce virtuous circles in Monster's consumer experience by chaining tasks together. Break Webby-winning content out of its own silo by presenting in context.

My Role

Advocate for virtuous circles as a standard approach on sites. Strategy setting, UX project direction. This content integration project was one of dozens of projects under the "Job Response" initiative, whose target was the recovery of core KPIs. I directed UX work on the Job SWAT team.

Outcome

Target users had more exposure to content, and to typical next tasks. Job search results better integrated throughout consumer experience. Due to overall SWAT initiative, core job  KPIs recovered more that 30% YOY.
